Pixie Classes (Ages 2–4)

Our youngest dancers explore movement, imagination, and listening skills in a warm, nurturing environment. With loving teachers and a sense of make-believe, Pixies feel safe to build independence while having the time of their life.

What Pixies Build:

Starlet Classes (Ages 4–6)

Starlet classes introduce the basic structure of dance, teaching proper positioning and alignment while keeping every class fun. Advanced technical skills are woven into creative movement across ballet, tap, hip hop, tumbling/acro, and jazz.

What Starlets Learn:

Ballet Classes

Evolution Dance Center offers one of the most complete ballet programs in the San Diego area — from a first fun class for a two-year-old ballerina all the way through a Pre-Professional Program for dancers training for a career in ballet.

Vaganova Method Training

Our program is built on the Vaganova Method, the classical technique behind some of the world’s finest ballet dancers. Strong ballet technique is the foundation for excellence in nearly every dance form, which is why ballet is part of every student’s training.

Jazz Classes (Ages 4+)

Jazz has been evolving since the early 1900s — from the jitterbug to the Charleston to today’s fast, intricate combinations. It’s a challenging, high-energy style that rewards technique and precision.

Tap Classes (Ages 2+)

Musical Theater Classes

Musical Theater classes are offered for students in our Company Competition Program, combining expert choreography with storytelling and character work to bring Broadway to life.
