Frequently Asked Questions
We welcome dancers starting at age 2 all the way through age 17. Our Little Movers program is designed for toddlers and preschoolers, while our Junior and Teen programs serve kids and teenagers at every skill level — beginner through competitive.
Not at all. We welcome brand-new beginners with open arms. Our instructors are trained to meet every dancer exactly where they are and build from there. Whether it’s your child’s first class or they’ve been dancing for years, there’s a place for them at Evolution.
Evolution Dance offers Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, Musical Theater, and our Pixies & Starlets program for our youngest dancers. We also offer Adult Yoga Flow.
Yes! Our competitive program gives motivated dancers the opportunity to train at a higher level and perform at regional and national competitions. Competition team placement is based on audition and teacher recommendation. Ask us about audition dates for the upcoming season.
Absolutely — we offer a complimentary trial lesson so your dancer can experience the studio, meet their teacher, and fall in love with dance before you commit to a full session. Register for your free trial through the Akada portal.
We are open Monday through Friday 3pm–8pm and Saturday 9am–1pm. View our full class schedule online to find the right day and time for your dancer.
We are located at 2032 Corte Del Nogal, Carlsbad, CA 92011. Plenty of parking is available on site. We love welcoming new families — come check us out!
